Surf House in Helsinki offers indoor surfing 7 days a week and public and private events are organised for up to 500 participants, both for B2C and B2B markets. The core team consists of various experts in the F&B, event and sports industries and we are now seeking additional reinforcements into our team:
VENUE OPERATORS

Our team has open positions for three Venue Operators, who enjoy customer service and creating unique experiences. You have solid experience from bartending and you have been hosting events.
You work as part of Surf House Helsinki's action team and your main task is to focus on the beach bar, catering, events and customer service. You will also received training for indoor surfing and later you may occasionally be conducting surf sessions as well.
We require you to have
- Work experience from the restaurant industry
- Ability to use the most common POS systems
- Liquor passport
- Good English language skills
- Happy and energetic attitude
- Good social and team working skills
- Readiness to work in the evenings and on weekends
The employment is full-time with a probationary period.
SALES EXECUTIVES
(Fluent Finnish speaking only)
Our team has two positions available for SALES EXECUTIVES, who enjoy both B2B and B2C sales as well as producing unique events.
You work under the CCO and your main task is to handle inbound traffic and sell events of all sizes. Smaller events are sold through our automated online systems and larger productions use our CRM and event production software. Managing complicated capacities and making impossible possible are your strong points and you’ll be creating some of the best events in Finland with our operations team.
Previous experience from B2B sales and event production is a must together with effectiveness closing down deals and good social skills
We require you to have
- Fluent Finnish and English language skills
- Work experience from B2B and B2C sales
- Commercial studies
- Knowledge of today's CRM’s, sales tools, communication and marketing channels
- Great project management skills
- Good social and team working skills

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR
(Fluent Finnish speaking only)
Our Sales & Marketing team is looking for an innovative Social Media Content Creator and we’ll guarantee your work won’t be boring!
On your typical day you create content for different social media platforms by taking pictures, filming video and generating supporting text contents before publishing them using SproutSocial and other common social media tools. You engage the audiences with your innovative style and increase the followers in the most important channels. You might also participate in our events and plan & execute marketing materials together with our steam and other photographers, videographers and graphic designers. You follow our brand guidelines with the freedom to add your personal touch. You will also manage our website contents and write newsletter and other content required on various marketing campaign for more traditional channels.
We require you to have
- Fluent Finnish and English language skills
- Excellent writing skills and nailing down the tone of voice needed in different situations
- Proof of previous high quality content creation
- Deep knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Youtube and other common platforms
- Natural interest to follow fast-changing trends in social media
- Creative mind and expertise to produce video, image and text content
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and managing websites
- Happy and energetic attitude

We are looking for trainees from various fields: Marketing, Sales, Content and Event production, Restaurant operations, Event hosting etc..
You get involved in daily operations of our unique Surf House concept and in addition to your actual training you learn how to surf! This is a great opportunity for new talents who has the desire to learn new skills and be part of the coolest venue in Helsinki.
We require you to have
- Fluent English language skills
- Finnish language skills required for sales, marketing and content creation
- Genuine interest to entertainment concepts and desire to learn
- Team spirit and good attitude
- Good social skills
- Expertise from your study field; no matter if its F&B, events, marketing, sales or social media related.
The start of the internship is flexible and the duration is preferably 5-6 months (minimum 3 months). We pay a small fee for the internship, which does not affect your student support.
